In order to get certified as an ABBYY FlexiCapture 12 Certified Specialist, you are required to pass this certification exam. This exam tests your skills and knowledge related to:
- Product Overview
- System Architecture
- Document Processing Stages
- Document Definition
- Workflow
- Project Setup
- FlexiLayout Studio
- Field Extraction Training
After you pass the exam, you are certified. You will also receive an automated email with your PDF certificate. Certification badge will be available under the My Profile tab. Certification will be valid for 2 (two) years.
Certification Preparation
Official ABBYY training: ABBYY FlexiCapture 12 Basic. Training course attendance is NOT required for taking the exam.

Exam Details
Click "Enroll" to enroll in the certification exam. Press "Take Exam" once you are ready. The exam will start after you have accepted the terms and conditions.
Please note you have unlimited attempts. The first retake is allowed without delay. Subsequent retakes are allowed after a four-day (96-hour) delay.
Exam parameters:
- Time Limit of 2 hours
- 50 questions
- Passing score is 80% or above
- Unlimited attempts
- First retake interval is 0 hours, subsequent retake interval is 96 hours (four days)
- Language: English
